Yemen government pays more attention to Soqatra Island because of its various and natural characteristics.This island is considered as a museum of natural history ; also the Island gets much concern by the UNESCO.

Soqatra Island has a massive botanical cover, there are around 750 types of plants, some of them are used as medical herbs, also there are some other rare plants, the palm trees are distributed everywhere there.
